Home Selling Checklist

The process that you will need to go through when selling a home is not an easy one, but here is a checklist to help you get started.

o Hire a Realtor! A real estate agent can help you get the highest price in the shortest amount of time and will carry out all of the business in correlation with selling your home.

o Get your house ready to sell by repairing or updating your homes exterior, interior, and appliances. Making your house look ready to show will increase interest from potential buyers.

o Decide whether you will pay professionals to do pre-listing inspections. This can often prevent problems at the time of closing and show you items that will need to be repaired before selling your home.

o Sell or store unnecessary furniture or personal items. By removing some of the unnecessary items, your home will look larger and cleaner.

o Make moving plans and decide when and how you will move. Plan this part of the deal carefully. Closings do sometimes have issues at the very last minute. Keep this in mind as you are negotiating on your new home as well.

A home selling checklist can help organize most of the aspects involved in selling a home. Take the time to prepare for success!
